Week 1 is officially here! Betting went well at least for me last night thanks to some great back door 1st half covers by Mizzou and Oklahoma State. So here are some of my picks for the upcoming week!
Georgia to cover ATS (-17) against Oregon. The defending champions will meet the Ducks in the Benz on Saturday afternoon, for Oregon it's the first year for new coach Dan Lanning who comes from Georgia where he served as the defensive coordinator. I just don't see Oregon having enough in them to win or stay that close. I think the Dawgs cover in Atlanta.
Florida ML over Utah.
Utah is a very slight 2-point favorite as of now over the Florida Gators. This will be a great game to start off the year for both teams but I think home-field advantage helps the orange and blue in Billy Napier's debut.
Ohio St does not cover but wins.
I am so tempted to say the Buckeyes cover but I don't see it happening. I think Marcus Freeman will have the Irish ready to fight but Cj Stroud is just too good and the Buckeyes win by two TD's in the horseshoe.
Arkansas covers (-6 1/2) against Cincinnati.
This is an under-the-radar good game on Saturday. I think the Hogs however cover but barely against a team who was in the CFP a year ago. Hogs win by 7-10 on Saturday.
